Save The Most recognizable butterfly, the Monarch, is on the endangered species list. 

Millions of generational butterflies make the journey from the United States and Canada south to California and Mexico in the winter. 

The butterfly metamorphosis : egg, caterpillar, chrysalis, and then a beautiful butterfly. 

The caterpillar relies on Milkweed flower for food, however the butterfly feeds on a variety of flowers.
