Beeswax Lip Balm Tubes: All of our tubes are USA-made from post-industrial polypropylene. Post-industrial manufacturing reuses the scraps generated from the original manufacturing process. Any defects or runoff plastic is melted again and used in future manufacturing. This process drastically reduces the amount of waste throughout the manufacturing process. (Post-consumer plastics are not permitted in the manufacturing process for cosmetics). Our tubes are also 100% recyclable. We are constantly working with our manufactures to innovate our tubes and manufacturing process.
*LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) - the most widely used third-party verification for green buildings. It allows our manufacturing facility to use their resources more efficiently, decreasing the production of greenhouse gases.
